KEMENTERIAN ENERGI DAN SUMBER DAYA MINERAL REPUBLIK INDONESIA SIARAN PERS NOMOR: 002.Pers/04/SJI/2018 Tanggal: 04 Januari 2018 Radius Aman Gunung Agung Diturunkan dari 8-10 km Menjadi 6 km Pusat Vulkanologi Dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG), Badan Geologi Kementerian Energi Dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) menetapkan status Gunung Agung, Karang Asem, Bali masih berstatus “AWAS”, namun demikian PVMBG menurunkan batas radius aman untuk beraktifitas dari menjadi 6 kilometer dari sebelumnya 8 hingga 10 kilometer. Mount Agung status clarify


The status of Mount Agung remains at the alert status of “4” or “Awas” as has been determined by the Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) of Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ Geological Agency.  An exclusion zone covering an approximate radius of 10 km from the Mountain’s peak has been determined as being at direct threat from any potential eruption. People living in the exclusion zone have been moved to temporary camps outside the zone under threat.
